3 & 2 So Far!

Not a great start to the 2009/10 season but not a bad one either. We lost to Leeds in our first game that I really think we should have won. Then got a good win away at Bradford Maroons but then a tough close game vs Dragons that again we had in the bad and let slip away. That left us with a losing record again.

We went away to Tyne Met looking for a good performance and we def got that up there. I think everyone played one of their best games of the season, we moved the ball well and everyone had a really good laugh.

Manchester was another tough one vs a team of U18's who just wanted to run-run-run. Half the team didn't actually get there until we had already started the match. We started well enough with 3 of our U18's and myself and Chris Law. Was a hard game as they had some really big guys who were getting every rebound for them so we didn't get much chance if we didn't make our shots. They hit a big three on the buzzer to take it to overtime but then in overtime we showed our experience and even without Garnet we beat them comfortably by about 13 in the end.

Looking forward to the weekend and hopefully we can come away with a win against Stockport to move us level with them in the table and move us closer to the top where we belong!
